This recent post by Scott Berkun (”Creative Lessons From Rene Magritte“) is so good I feel I am doing it a disservice by summarizing it. You should by all means read the whole thing.
Berkun’s description of his recent visit to Magritte’s home (now a museum) in Brussels is the best thing I’ve read on innovation in a long time. In addition to a tour of the house and its contents, Berkun finds time to muse on the difference between the real and the virtual (”Twittering about something is not the same as doing that thing”), workspaces, and having to hold down a day job while you pursue a passion.
